We are dedicated to fostering trust with every client and delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every animal. Through open dialogue and a unified team approach, we strive to support the health and well-being of pets and the people who love them.

Dr. Lopez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP®) specialized in Canine and Feline Practice. She earned both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. Her clinical experience spans general practice, emergency and critical care, and advanced diagnostics.
She began her career as an Emergency and Critical Care Assistant at the University of Missouri, followed by work as an associate veterinarian in Las Vegas before returning to Florida. Dr. Lopez has a strong interest in internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and comprehensive patient care. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with pet owners and providing compassionate, high-quality medicine tailored to each patient. As the founder of VetNest Animal Hospital, an exciting new venture set to open in June 2026, Dr. Lopez is dedicated to creating a welcoming, community-focused environment where pets and their families feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. On her free time, she likes to spend time with her son, husband, dog (Dobby) and bird (Mochi).
